The Hult Prize is a partnership between the Hult International Business School and the United Nations. Each year, it challenges university students from around the world to launch social enterprises addressing a global challenge aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Past winners have built businesses in food waste, clean water, plastic recycling, and maternal health.
What you get
Global Finalist teams compete for a US$1,000,000 prize. All teams reaching the Global Accelerator (16 teams) get free accommodation and travel to the UK, mentorship from global business leaders, and access to the Hult network of 3,000+ alumni. Regional rounds also offer cash prizes ($2,500–$15,000).
Eligibility
Enrolled in any college or university worldwide at the time of application, team of 2–4 people (must include at least one currently enrolled student), and a business idea addressing the year's theme. Both undergrad and grad students eligible.
