Google.org Impact Challenge: Tech for Social Good 2026
$50,000–$250,000 grants for nonprofits using AI and emerging tech to solve social and environmental problems. Global, with Africa track.
Google.org's Impact Challenge funds nonprofits that use technology — including AI, machine learning, and digital tools — to address big social and environmental challenges. Past winners in Africa have built AI for maternal health, ML for crop disease, and digital literacy platforms.
What you get
$50,000 (seed) to $250,000 (scale) grant, technical support from Google.org Fellows (Google employees seconded to your org for 3-6 months), access to Google Cloud credits, and the global visibility of being a Google.org grantee.
Eligibility
Registered nonprofit (501(c)(3) in the US or equivalent elsewhere), active programme in the challenge's focus area (varies by year — check the current cycle's theme), and a clear plan for how the grant will accelerate measurable impact.
