The Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF) Entrepreneurship Programme is the flagship African entrepreneurship catalyser. Since 2015, TEF has empowered over 18,000 African entrepreneurs across 54 African countries with seed capital, mentorship, and training. The 2026 cycle is now open.
What you get
US$5,000 seed capital, 12 weeks of intensive online business training, access to a global network of mentors and TEF alumni, and the opportunity to be featured at the TEF annual forum in Lagos (all-expenses paid for finalists).
Eligibility
African citizen of any age, operating a business OR with a scalable business idea (under 3 years old), business in any sector (for-profit or social enterprise), commit to attending the full 12-week training.
