Commonwealth Master's Scholarships 2026 (UK)
Fully-funded master's in the UK for students from low and middle-income Commonwealth countries. Funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office.
The Commonwealth Scholarship Commission's programme is designed for talented students from low and middle-income Commonwealth nations who could not otherwise afford to study in the UK. It supports full-time taught master's at any UK university with strong development impact potential.
What you get
Tuition and examination fees, airfare to and from the UK, maintenance allowance (£1,378/month in London, £1,200 outside), warm clothing allowance, thesis grant, and a study travel grant within the UK.
Eligibility
Citizen or refugee of a Commonwealth country, permanently resident there, hold a first degree of upper second-class Honours (2:1) or above, unable to afford to study in the UK without the scholarship, and committed to returning home after the award.
